No, rosemary has properties other than it’s flavor. In fact, rosemary has a long history that doesn’t even include cooking.

The Ancient Greeks burned it at their altars, the Egyptians put it their tombs, and French burned it on hospitals to clean the air.

Rosemary has also been used as a medicine and as a meat preservative in hot weather.

We modern folks can use rosemary for numerous uses as well.

1. Improves digestion.

So all that roast chicken you just ate should be okay in your tummy as long as you stuck some rosemary in the pan, too.

    Rosemary is also known as a guardian herb and should be planted by entryways to homes and gardens.
